***This post is a part of my April A to Z series where this year I will be highlighting different plants each day. Check out this page to see all of my posts combined on one easy sheet. ***
Apparently J plants are hard to find as well.
Java Moss (Vesicularia dubyana)
Look at that awesome moss tree!! Check out aquascape addiction for more ideas!
Lighting – Even though it is a “moss” it prefers bright light
Water – well circulated clean water
This moss can be used in water feature areas and requires to be constantly moist as it establishes itself. Java moss can also be used with tadpoles. It helps to keep the water cleaner and gives tadpoles a little bit of security. It is recommended that the moss be started within a pond or water feature and then be transferred to a branch if you are going that route.
