There are tons of Tillandsia’s, but my favorite is the ionantha Fuego due to its coloring.
Origin-Central and South America
Water – likes humid but allow to dry prior to re-misting
These tillandsia’s come in all shapes and sizes. These plants are called air plants because they normally grow without soil while attached to other plants. Check out NE Herp to pick out some awesome tillandsia’s!

Water –medium to high moisture
Temperature- warm to cool
This plants leaves remind me of a Christmas cactus due to the odd shape. According to Glass Box Tropicals, this is a relatively new species to be used within terrariums. The texture of these plants is something that is not currently found on the market. This species tends to grow in a small bush with leaves that are not more than 1cm in length and 1/2 cm in width. Small white flowers will form on and off throughout the year however they are very short lived.
